Get Involved
an “all hands-on” event
OAS has steadily grown in the number of participating artists, number of tour
attendees, and number of events that offer opportunities for artists and their
community to engage since it began in 2003. In that time, it has also
grown into a highly anticipated annual celebration of local artists. Our
continued growth and success rests in the hands of all who are willing to give
their talent and time. Artists, family members, friends, colleagues and community
members are invited to join us.
“many hands make art work”
It takes many hands (and eyes) to proofread and edit the OAS tour map, brochure
and artist directory. It takes many more to distribute those materials
to the public. Thanks to those volunteers our community has the tools
it needs to go on our studio tour and connect with our artists. It takes
many hands to hang our exhibit in the Overture Center Galleries. Thanks
to those volunteers our community has access to our artwork prior to the tour. It
takes many hands to run our silent auction of artwork donated by OAS artists. Thanks
to those volunteers we have raised thousands of dollars to help fund OAS. Everyone
is invited to lend their hands to make local art work in the Madison-area.
